VCross Vibe 6501

We are picking up a new Vibe 6501 (Forest River) and they sold us a weight distribution bar with sway control. It's a little different as the Vibe is built out over the hitch and we can't use the standard weight distribution bar. Has anyone tried one of these?

you need to post the brand and model or post pics of it.
plus pics would help since the Vibe is a new model and the tongue area may be different than other trailers.

and, it's a weight distribution hitch, not bar. it may have weight bars but not if it has a separate anti-sway bar.
so, what you're calling it is confusing.

Worried for nothing, the Equal-i-zer weight distribution hitch was installed by the dealer and works great. We love he Vibe 6501, just the right size for us.

Congrats on your new Vibe 6501

Hey,

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your Vibe. We thought we were the only ones with the 6501 . We got the distribution and sway bars installed as well (by the dealer).

We already got our first trip in with our new Vibe 6501 and we absolutely love it. Perfect size for the two of us. The winds were whipping around at 65 km/hr on our way home and the distribution and sway bar kept it nice and steady behind us.

Let us know if you do any mods to your unit and what your thoughts are after your first camping trip.

Happy camping,
