WD bars to tight?
Just hooked up the new camper for our firt big trip since bringing it home empty, I tried to use the weight distribution bars (rated at 1200lbs) to get the truck as close to back to level as possible. I am within half an inch, the question I have is, I am hanging 5 links to get to this point, the bars are just level with the bottom of the frame. Am I goign to cause issues with interference when turning having them this tight? Do I have them too tight? Coming home from our seasonal spot last weekend I had some porpoising and thought if I dropped another link it would solve this issue, I also do not want to be to light on the rear of the truck and cause issues there, that will get real ugly. Towing with a CC Silverado 2500

If you have your TV back to level or very close and the bars are parallel to the trailer frame I'd say you have them adjusted correctly.
Porpoising can can be caused by many things like road conditions.

Sounds like you are on the right track. Another thing to consider is whether your trailer is towing level. This is primarily a function of the ball height on your TV. Lots of good information on etrailer.com.

The front of the truck is the most important. Depending on what brand you have is what determines how the front fender height needs to be restored. Not sure what GM recommends. Don't worry about the rear. They're made to sag, that's why the rear is 2-3" higher than the front.

Gm requires the front to be at stock height and NOT LOWER.

Dropped 4 links and she towed like a dream all the way here. Truck handled beautifully. Could have only asked for better fuel mileage but can't ask much out of the 6.0. 7.9mpg was best.
