WD dilemma. Cat scale weights.

I wanted to get better actual weights again with the silverado 1500. I have been running on the 9th chain but I recently installed the sumo springs.

Sing I have really no sag anymore I was concerned.

I did all these at the scales today.

Truck
Truck trailer WD en-gauged
Truck trailer wd dis en-gauged

Me 200 lbs in the truck

Shows a 740 lb TW @ 14%

This is 9th chain

Front axle stock ride. 3300 lbs
WD front axle 3160 lbs.

Almost restored front. I have 8 washers and thats the max I can go I assume.

Actual Weights - Travel Trailer/Bumper Pull Weights from CAT Scales - Towing Planner

This is what the bars look like.

OK so on my way out I said lets do chain 8th links and see what happens.

Well bars aiming up, but I restored the front to exactly 3300 lbs

So I moved 140lbs more to the front
And 20 lbs to the trailer.

I still have 14% TW @ 740 lbs?? Strange?

This link

Actual Weights - Travel Trailer/Bumper Pull Weights from CAT Scales - Towing Planner

and heres the bars.

What would you do?

Also note: The back of bed was empty. I will be having a gen in there, some crates, and a solar panal at times. Maybe 200lbs

And max 3 other people . mabey 400 lbs

Also note my RAWR is 3750

With 8th link this gives me 870 lbs left to add to rear axle

FAWR 3925

on 8th link this gives me 625lbs left to add to front axle

Should have weighed it with all those extra in it. That way you would not be guessing how those would effect the weight you already had.

WDH doesn't change the TW, but it does shift some of the weight back to the trailer axles.

TW = truck weight with WDH not engaged - truck weight by itself.

Not true.

I would have a 1020lb TW then. You need to take the other weight with WD
additive in the equation.

edit.. opps I did rear axle only

Yes I had that tow planner do the math.

So its truck weight - WD unhooked truck weight? 740 lbs.

What can I do with the hitch/WD to get the bars straight and transfer more weight like I did with the 8th link?

Thinking about it there is probably nothing I can do but get bigger bars maybe?

These are 1000lbs bars now.

But tilting head back more I think would help, but I have 8 washers already.

Also, I had that exact same truck (2016 Silverado 1500) and Husky WDH and I spent a lot of time, money and energy doing exactly what you're doing without good results. Washers, links, Torx stabilizers, LT tires, not putting anything in the bed of the truck, etc. You name it, I tried it.
I then went to the Blue Ox SwayPro and had to run the bars extremely tight to get anything remotely worked out weight wise.

Fast forward a few months and I ended up putting my family's safety ahead of my stubbornness to make the 1500 work for us. I traded it in for the F250.

My suggestion is to get the washers right first, second is to get the hitch ball height correct by being equal to or 1" higher than your leveled trailer coupler, then start messing with links.
