WD Hitch Size for Cherokee Grey Wolf 27RR

My dealer is telling me I need an Equalizer 1000/10000 WD Hitch. The TT has a Max GVWR of 7965, ship weight of 5762 and a hitch weight of 965. I was surprised he would install a 1000 instead of a 1200 or 1300. What do you think?

Makes me worry a little about other things!

If your dry hitch weight then go 1200, you'll be over the 1000 once a battery and propane are on
