Call Eaz Lift and talk to them, they were VERY helpful.
I was told by some kid in service that since our TH was just under 10k dry with a 1090 lb dry hitch weight that I was supposed to have the 10k/1000 bars and hitch. I explained to him that he was an ............ Long story short, I called the general sales manager and explained what was going on. They have ordered my 1400# bars and I should have them this week.
I don't understand how anyone in a service environment doesn't understand their trade. I guess me being a general contractor with an engineering degree amplifies my reaction to BS. Fully loaded this camper gets upwards of 13,000 lbs with a hitch weight around 1400/1500 or so. The service kid didn't quite understand 1400 is 40% greater than 1000. His quote was "it's only a few hundred pounds more". In the end it's still my fault for thinking they knew what they were doing when we purchased. I should have caught this back then.
