Camping World....lord.
We had the opposite problem with the WDH and TT we bought from them. I called Eaz Lift and gave them my specs. They made a recommendation on my bars, which CW refused to honor.
So Eaz Lift called my CW and told them to make the switch. They did as they were told.

Call Eaz Lift and talk to them, they were VERY helpful.

I was told by some kid in service that since our TH was just under 10k dry with a 1090 lb dry hitch weight that I was supposed to have the 10k/1000 bars and hitch. I explained to him that he was an ............ Long story short, I called the general sales manager and explained what was going on. They have ordered my 1400# bars and I should have them this week.

I don't understand how anyone in a service environment doesn't understand their trade. I guess me being a general contractor with an engineering degree amplifies my reaction to BS. Fully loaded this camper gets upwards of 13,000 lbs with a hitch weight around 1400/1500 or so. The service kid didn't quite understand 1400 is 40% greater than 1000. His quote was "it's only a few hundred pounds more". In the end it's still my fault for thinking they knew what they were doing when we purchased. I should have caught this back then.
