WDH hitch

What is the best way to setup your WDH and how should the camper be sitting when you back up to it.. Thanks

Get the manufactures set up instructions and follow them. I want mine close to level.

sitting level and parallel with the tow vehicle. Once the weight distribution is hooked hooked and the trailer is ready to be towed the trailer should sit level ( I actually prefer mine a touch nose down.) and the tow vehicle should have some drop in the rear and little to no rise in the front.

Truck and trailer should be as close to level as possible when hooked up and wdh engaged. No sag in the truck and the trailer level.

Thank you for the info. What I have is a 2014 Ram 1500 region cab short bed 4 wheel drive. When I have the camper level it looks like the ball is way to high. How should the ball on the shank be set. Thanks

Usually with the TT level you want the ball to be 1 to 2" higher. Level TT and measure from top of TT coupler to ground. Then measure from top of ball to ground. Adjust ball height in shank as required to obtain a ball height of 1 to 2" higher than TT.
