Thumbs up WDH numbers

I'm going to "try" to load the file with my weight numbers in it. Looking for suggestions as to any changes to make. Towing weights are with two different WDH's. #1 is an old trunion type I've had for years. #2 is a new round bar 10,000 # I just purchased. Here goes nothing. OK, document wrong type! won't load.
Truck weight door sticker: Front GVWR =3450, REAR GAWR = 3850 TOTAL GAWR = 7300.
Truck only on scale Steer axle = 3120, Rear axle = 2600, total = 5720
Truck w/old WDH Steer axle = 3160, Rear axle= 3500, , Trailer axles= 6060, Total = 12720,
Truck w/ new WDH Steer axle = 3140, Drive axle = 3640, Trailer axle = 6080, total = 12860. Trip between weighings. First with trailer tanks empty, second with trailer tanks full. Trailer tongue weight at home on scale was 840#.

Any comments??? Help???

Looks like either WDH setup would be good.

Your GVWR is probably lower than your GAWR (looks like you combined the GAWR of the 2 axles to get that figure ??). The GVWR is usually a couple hundred pounds lower than the maximum of your 2 axles. The GVWR should be stated on a label on the driver's door.

Two things: First, your total weight (12,860) minus truck weight (5,720) gives a trailer weight of 7,140. On the scales your trailer axles are at 6,080 so the pin weight (7140-6080) is 1,060, not the 840 you got at home. Second, I would go with the first hitch since it puts a little more on your steer axle and it gives you more margin to your rear axle GVWR.
