How do you find the location of the nearest weigh scale?

CAT Scale
Just put your zip code into the search box.
There is an awesome article on how to weigh also.

You can also check for your local Farmers Coop or a local moving company. My local Coop only charges me $5.00.

Provided the scale has the ability to weigh individual axles (or you develop a procedure to do so), this would work as well.
The cat scales have independent weigh plates that can weigh individual axles at a single pass. Last I weighed, the first weigh is 10.00 and you can have unlimited additional weighs for 1 dollar per pass (within 24 hours).
That helps when you are tweaking your hitch setup or have to unload the macjine shop you stashed in the storage "just in case."

To save yourself the trouble of having to take a big stick to push the speaker button. Before you put your rig on the scale, go inside and get the phone #, and then call them once you are on the scale, and take all instructions by phone.

Tip to weigh side to side. (to get the load on each wheel rather than an average across the axle)
Cat scales have more than 3 plates (to handle tandems I guess).
Pull up one the scale with (say) the left side on the pavement and the right side on the plates. Stop one plate SHORT (you will need to use the cell phone tip earlier to let them know when you are ready). That way you can steer back onto the plates when you reposition for the next weigh ticket.
Repeat for the other side.
You can also position your camper's axles to split a plate so you can get actual loads on each axle rather than "just the camper weight."
An out of level rig (as often happens with 5th wheels) can put more weight on one axle than the other.

Some do, but a lot do not. I've been a truck driver for quite a few years, and in the past, many of the truck stops did use a CB for this, and other things. But in todays world, with all of the advances in technology, and many of the small family owned truck stops being forced out of business by the larger chains, many have just went to the intercom systems. It's hard to even get truckers to talk to ya anymore, not like it was 20+ years ago when everybody had a CB, and they were always on.
