weighed trailer and tow vehicle and still confused

I followed advise that I received on this forum and took my trailer and tow vehicle fully loaded to a truck stop and had it weighed. I am still confused with tongue weight. For simplicity I will use round numbers. Trailer unhooked on scale # 2 and tow vehicle on scale # 1 Trailer weighs in at 4200 which sounds right since manufacturer says 3700 out the door. Vehicle weighs in at 6200...also loaded and sounds right. Hook up the trailer with tow vehicle still on scale number one and it goes to 6580 and increase of 380 which I thought should be the tongue weight but the manufacturer says the tongue weight of trailer is 377....where is all the weight I added? (battery and equipment in the front pass through)
Vehicle can handle up to 677 tongue weight. Tow vehicle can pull 7400 lbs and combined I think is 13,000. I am comfortable with all numbers but the tongue weight...it doesn't seem to make sense.

Wd hitch? ...you say scale 1 and 2....so you were only weighing 2 axles?....if your trailer is 4200, then at 380 you dont even have enough weight on tongue?... should be between 420 and 630....?...or am i missing something?

That is why I am confused. The manufacturer says the hitch weight is 377 unloaded....but when I weighed it fully loaded it was only 380. I know it needs to be more but either I weighed it wrong or packed it wrong or I am completely not understanding.

Again....that is with or without wd bars?....if that is total tongue weight loaded, its not enough....move stuff or try some fresh water.......and you can toss the manufacturer #......they are irrelevant.....

Yeah....thats why....you need to weigh WITHOUT the bars.......with the bars on you are distributing the tongue weight to the front wheels and trailer axles.....

what was the weight of the trailer when coupled to TV? When wdh is engaged some of the weight will be transferred to the TT Axles. Also where was the hitch head and bars when you weighed TV alone? Did you get front and rear axle weights of TV during first and second weigh in?

And secondary to that you really need individual axle weights to get it set exactly......front and rear towvehicle axle weights that is.....with and without the bars

You can get the tongue weight at home with a bathroom scale.
