weight police oh my.

Talked to this gal this afternoon.
She's from Michigan headed to Omaha for the Lincoln hiway fest.

1966 chevy II nova pulling a 66 tt both bought brand new in 1966.

They both look like they are great condition! It would be cool to see how it looks inside the TT.

It appears that not only is the TV overloaded, but the TT is over loaded also.

Do you know how many people are in the car?

This is the kind of people that I give a lot of room to on the highway.

Do you not remember when we had fender skirts and lowered cars? Would have driven the wt police absolutely bonkers.

Sure I remember fender skirts - had them on my 1953 and 1957 Chevys.

Never did the lowering thing, but remember see them - old Mercurys especially.

Yeh - remember reading the magazines showing what George Barris ( think that was his name ) out in L.A.did to those old Mercurys by chopping and channelling them.

Reminds me of the time we towed a 1968 18' Shasta travel trailer with a '69 Pontiac GTO from Gander, Newfoundland to Cold Lake, Alberta in 1973. No such thing as Weight Police in those days !!
