I applied some black silicone around the lights on the cab roof to stop a rather persistent water leak.

Well... like it sounds it (in theory) provides colder air to the engine. Which improves performance.
In practice I would say it provides marginally colder air but much better air flow. I can say I’ve seen an immediate improvement in gas mileage.

Sumos

Sumo Springs installed and they made a huge difference. Stops the bucking and helps with sway.

Busted the 5th wheel yesterday, but received the new door latch I have been waiting for and replaced it on the Drivers door. Door closes with a nice Thump now, and no more jiggles, wiggles, squeaks and thunks. Glad it was something as simple as the latch, because a misaligned door that flops around is not an easy fix.

I also installed Sumo Springs on the F-150 today. Didn't have a particular need to, but a lot of research makes me think they'll give me a more enjoyable towing experience on the 7,000 mile trip coming up soon.
Haven't hitched the trailer with them yet. Plan to do that tomorrow to see if I need to adjust hitch height.

Installed a new cold case radiator on our 2012 Yukon XL Denali and took the alpha wolf out for a tow on the highway in 85° weather. Temp never got above 217° on the hills where it used to get up to 237° in similar ambient temps. Measured via OBD2 data stream. Fabulous! And with the Trucool transmission cooler, the transmission never got above 170°. Good to go for the summer.

You will most likely need to adjust the hitch height on the trailer tongue, not the actual hitch because your rearend of the truck won’t go down as much with trailer on the ball. Probly raise the brackets on the trailer a notch or 2.

While it’s a possibility that changes might be needed, I installed sumos on my 2014 Tundra and then a 2014 F-150 and no adjustments were needed.

I installed Roadmaster Active Suspension and while I was at it, put an Extang Trifecta 2.0 trifold cover on the back of our 2015 Ford F-150 4x2 SC. Looked at the Summo Spring setup but for the money I felt the RAS was well worth it. Unloaded ride and handling is a dramatic change and pulling our 6300 # loaded TT really changed. What they advertised about the RAS is not hype, I experience a much more enjoyable tow with this addition and the bedcover has quieted the interior noise in the cab. Highly recommend both!!

BTW no changes made to my Equa-I-Zer WD hitch as of yet and a great 300 mile tow to out next stop. RAS only raised the rear of the truck by 1/2 “ unloaded and my loaded height trailer and hitch attached is less that 1/4 “ difference.
Just started a trip from Fla around the US of A and back that will take us to the Grand Canyon, Utah, Yellowstone, the Badlands, the UP and lower Michigan, the Adirondacks, White Mountains and Bar Harbor. Then back south before the snow flies.
The RAS should help a lot.

Cleaned the throttle body and replaced the fan clutch with a sever duty one. Was heating up some when pulling hills. Being a 2005 2500HD Silverado it’s about time for this service. Only 44,000 miles though. My next addition will be the Roadmaster active suspension upgrade.

Installed a K&N cold air on my 2014 Ram 1500 some time ago. Removed it recently and reinstalled the factory unit after I discovered substantial dust and dirt in the intake tube while cleaning the filter. Did not notice improved performance or fuel economy with it installed.

What did you do to your tow vehicle today?

Went to town. To get pallet of concrete came home with a 2021 3500 Ram Laramie not sure how it happened yet and plus no concrete.

I feel I now don't have enough tension on my spring bars and they are not level.
