I don't lock anything.... If it gets stolen, insurance gets me a new rig! Winner, winner, chicken dinner

What do you use for a coupler lock?

What would they actually pay? Between depreciation and all of my upgrades, I'm sure I would not feel too happy after the fact.

Use what makes you feel good. I am a Fire Service Instructor and teach Firefighters how to defeat locks to gain entry. Have not come across a lock we could not open quickly. If you understand how each lock works it can easily be opened or broken. I used to lock our RVs years ago, once I learned how easy to open I quick locking. I will sometimes set a broken lock on the hitch to make it look locked. Has worked so far.

I would love to see that. Some of these locks are substantial and well protected .

I once saw how to defeat one of those old door chains you used to see in hotels with a thumbtack and a rubber band. That's why you don't see them anymore!

I did not know about tongue locks when I purchased my first TT and it was stolen while at CW for repairs. Learned in a hurry from that experience. I now use 2 locking devices when my TT is stored:

https://www.amazon.com/Master-Lock-3...r+coupler+lock

The locks give me peace of mind and while I agree with what others have said about locks keeping honest people honest, I also agree with the statement that I'd rather have a lock (or 2) on my TT and let the person next to me have his coach stolen because his is without a tongue lock.

Amplock. All the way!

Have only had the Amplock a week, but feel very lucky that no attempts were made while using the Reese lock for a year.

Lack of chains will not stop a criminal. It's a safety feature, totally unneeded to simply pull the trailer from point A to point B.
