What is a good toad for towing?

What is everyone's idea of a perfect toad vehicle for towing behind a Class C Motor Home? In reading up on the topic it seems not all vehicles are capable of being towed with all four wheels on the ground.

What vehicle(s) would you recommend if you wanted to pull something small (just for short distance transportation) and not have to do anything special to the vehicle? Does this limit the choices to two-wheel drives and stick shifts?

Smart car, Mini Cooper, Prius. Yaris , ... ?

We bought a used 01' Grand Cherokee limited to use behind our Georgetown. It weighs about 4200 lbs and is easy to set up. I found it for less than $4500 on Craigslist and it was already set up as a toad. The previous owner upgraded to a newer one.

I'm also looking around for a toad to pull behind a Georgetown.
It seems that the Jeep Liberty, Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Compass are used alot becasue of the 4 wheel on the ground towing. Seems the transmission is designed for towing on all 4 wheels.

Does anyone have one for sale in Arizona. Just thought I'd ask.

We pull a 2005 PT Cruiser Convertable, standard transmission, with no problems. The weight is 3450 lbs. Still need brake for most states.
