if its on a dolly, I would think anything front-wheel drive would be acceptable.

We tow a FWD Acura RDX behind our coach...as mentioned, almost any FWD vehicle will do well, as long as they sit high enough to clear the dolly parts. I had an issue with an Avalon not clearing my Kar Kaddy SS because it sat too low

Not all Jeep 4WD can be towed 4 down. You can check the owners manuals online to see which models and transmissions will work. Wonder why the OP wants to use a dolly if they want to pull a Jeep behind them. I have a Master Tow Dolly and love the simplicity of it along with its plastic fenders and LED lights.

I tow a 2013 Chevy Sonic on a Master Tow dolly with electric brakes. I love this setup as I can tow many other vehicles with no additional expense.

Heh heh. Old people.... original poster, I think. All front wheel drive. We already had two cars paid for and neither would tow 4 down. Loading their van up when we needed seating for 6 was unplanned but worked well.

We have two Jeep Wrangler. We flat tow them. We don't have to deal with loading, and unloading. No issue on where to place the dolly. Strapping and unstrapping. We towed with a dolly, and would never go back to a dolly. It is faster to hook up the flat tow, and safer to hook up.

Tow a 2008 Volvo C70 Convertible. Rides like it isn't even there. Use an Acme EZTow.

Myself I chose using a dolly because there is no expense equipping each car for flat towing, No expense to the Motorhome for adding brake actuator or the car, and I don't need to purchase any special car as long as it's front wheel drive or a 4 wheel that can be disconnected. Now I have already traded my Class C motorhome for a Class A and no additional cost.A big disadvantage to a tow dolly is others want to borow it or have you tow their car somewhere. And yes it takes more to hook up the car.
