Got a good deal on a 2005 expedition. Bought it to repair and resell it. When I got it home and took a good look at it think of keeping it as a second tow vehicle paired with my 2003 supercrew. 2005 expedition 5.4l 3v with 3:73 gear 4x4, tt 261bhxl.
I've got the 06 and towing same trailer.
Does well but not in any big hurry getting there.
We have 136000 on It and did have a transmission go on us last year.
It tows well and no big problem with sway with good WD hitch.
I will say to up grade the transmission cooler as the factory one isn't big enough even with the HD tow package.
