Loaded up the camper with most of everything we will need to camp with. All the tables, chairs, appliances, bedding, tools, etc. Hitched it up and took it for a test tow, which included about 15 miles of interstate driving at 65-70mph, and windy up hill side roads (45-55mph) adding another 15 miles to the trip.
The Expedition did great, suspension was firm, hitch felt like it was working as it should, didn't feel white knuckled on the highway, amd low end torque and power was fantastic. It was a windy day with about 15-20mph winds, and that didnt caise any issues. I did not come across any semis, though.
Here is a short video of a little under half throttle acceleration with it from a stop.

That's great. I'm glad it all worked out.
Us short wheelbase guys need to be heard other then being told you can't tow it.
I think the weight of the Expies help at about the same as our trailers.
It sounds like your not new to towing like me so that helps a lot.
Safe travels!!!
