Union = Higher cost Trust me I work for one with USW. There working on a new contract and the actual USS workers have never had to pay for health ins - new contract wants them to now pay and the workers are not to happy about it. If they go on strike my shop will have to close down due to 90% of our work is refurbishing caste equipment.

I am also a part of a union. A public entity at that. We just had some figures given to us at work.

The national average of absenteeism is 2.9%. Union labor NOT included

The national average of absenteeism for union labor is 10.8%.

At our union public entity workplace our average absenteeism is 18%.

Just think of how much money is spent on subs and sick pay!!!!! You could probably knock 10 grand of the price of a pickup if the employees would just come to work!!!

1994 Suburban

We pull our 2015 Salem Cruise-Lite with a 1994, like new Chevy Suburban. Longest trip was 1600 miles to Florida with our Shellie, who lived in it each night with windows down!

We are pulling our 30ft 2016 Coachmen Catalina (7700lb) with a 2013 F150 Supercrew short bed with 6.2L gas and 3.73 axle ratio. Using a Husky centerline TS wdh. Seems to be behaving very well. I see so many being told they should get a 3/4 ton but so far, not a waffle from the camper. A little porpoising yes, but no white knuckles yet!

2010 Toyota Tundra 5.7 hardly knows there is anything back there. Just got back from 5 weeks out west. The R-Pod found a new home when we got back home, got a lightly bigger TT and it still handles very well.

New to me 1999 F250 XLT 7.3l crew cab 4x4 short bed with 15k reese hitch. Hopefully I didn't double pm anyone that also owns a PSD. I am looking for mods to give me more power and maintaining speed on the highway pulling my 2016 Vengeance 320A SS. I am on FTE site but not all of those guys tow fifth wheels. I can't get a picture link to work.

Im not exactly sure if the 99 had a similar down pipe as the 94.5-98, but that was a big restriction on those model years. A chip, good exhaust, and CAI is a good place to start. Another must have for towing is a Pyrometer for all and Trans temp gauge if automatic. If you have a manual transmission and the fuel filter is in the valley of the block like on the 1st gen, get a remote filter. The o-ring has a tendency to pop out and fuel leaks down the value of the block right on the clutch and glazes it.

If that isn't enough, gotta look into a bigger turbo and/or intercooler. I have buddy who has done that with his 7.3l and it's pretty snotty.

Electra glide.....'drittal ' pretty well says it all.

X2

I was warned that the down pipe from the turbo would be a tight fit.
Surprisingly..... it had lots of room in my 2000 F350.
The hardest part about installing the 4" SS exhaust was my wife's stamina holding the down pipe up long enough for me to connect

There is no end to mods to improve performance, comforts or looks, except empty pockets

Good luck and enjoy your Rig.
