TV overkill for a Wind Jammer 3001w, but we are trading for a 5er in 2017. 2015 GMC Sierra 3500HD, Duramax, crew cab, 8' box, DRW.

Drawbacks of a 5er.
Although a 5er has many positives, that shows the drawbacks. A TT can have the ball adjusted anywhere and the WD levels the truck back out. No issues with keeping a TY level.
Of course, after a certain size you want a 5er...

When I installed my wdh the manual literally calls for like an inch tolerance in between the front and rear wheel wells and same for tt. I keep my stuff within that inch. Staying within the safety requirements is a true piece of mind for me. I even sold my tv and bought another cause I was 500 lbs under the gwcr . I just don't take any chances. Now another thing with his set up that the 3 wheels on the 5er are getting even weight. You can see that the front wheel is higher than the rear.

That's an extreme case.
He has 8" of lift on the truck. Not really made for towing.

This is our F250 , I bought it brand new May 10 , 2003 .
This picture was taken May 10 , 2016 on its 13th birthday (47,000 miles )
It gets used-but never abused
Towing our Coachmen 16FB last week at Mitchell State park in Cadillac Mi
Every spring I get a post card from the dealership where I bought it telling me they have a buyer if I'm interested in selling - they will have to deal with my widow after I'm gone because I'm keeping this one till the end .

I've got 3 vehicles and I get these post cards for each one of them. There is no buyer. It's a scam to get you to come in and buy a new car/truck.

I just made the longest trip with my 2016 Hemisphere 312 qbud. My tow vehicle is a 2014 Ram 4 door 4x4 with the t.7 Hemi. On theach trip from VA. To NH. I averaged just shy of 10MPG.
