What tows your Forest River?

I should clarify, EFI Live is not the only way to get an exhaust brake. I know Banks and PacBrake makes a kit. And I think Edge may have something. The other way is to wire a switch to a pin on your ECM. All of which are not FACTORY!

So is yours the 12 valve or 24? Those 12 valve are bulletproof. The big(expensive) problem with the 24 valve is the VP-44 fuel pump. And I blame that on the weak ass lift pump Cummins uses. With an Airdog or Fass electric lift pump, I would bet the injection problems would be cut in half. Other than that, they are pretty good engines too. At work our fleet has about 120 B-series/ISB Cummins powerplants. Right now I am rebuilding a 2002 ISB 5.9.

I'm a bit "different"...

I have a 276 Rockwood High Wall popup, so I can get away with my Honda Ridgeline 250hp V-TEC 6. It's only got a 5000 lb. tow capacity, but it's perfect for us. It has a unibody, so it's ride is superb, I get ~21 mpg on the road, 13-14 while towing. For what I do, I love this truck. The Ridgeline is undergoing a re-design for 2017, to be introduced in 2016. If what I hear turns out to be true, I'll be buying another one when we eventually change over to a TT.

I'm towing the 3200BHT Tracer with a '14 Silverado 1500 DBL Cab with 6L Max Tow package, tows the TT like a dream, a lot better then my 2010 1500 did. The only thing I'd change is that is was a crew cab instead, for the extra room for the kids on long trips.

Using the revolution on the Rockwood. Have a 6 3/4 ft box so using this for now. I have not checked if i can tow with the revolution disengaged yet.
