2010 Nissan Frontier pulling a 19 foot Surveyor Legend bunkhouse.
Not enough power for the mountains around Reno. High rpm's, low mpg's and 35 moh isn't safe on the highway and I plan on a TV upgrade. Except for the power, the long bed Frontier is nice and stable. I am also bumping up against my TV weight ratings with no margin for cargo loading in the truck.

Been there... done that. Never felt so dumb in my life when I couldn't figure out why the trailer felt so heavy behind me. LOL

How does it pull? I have my 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT Z71 with 3.42's and my 2019 Palomino Puma 27RBQC is about 6300 pounds dry and maybe close to 7000 pounds loaded. E2 Equalizer hitch and 680 pounds tongue weight. We have a few mountain passes here in Utah and I'm interested to see how it pulls.

How it pulls is subjective. I like to pull on 2 lane roads 50-55mph. Interstate 60mph is my preferred speed. 65 is max. I have never pulled mountain passes in Utah, but have ridden many in Utah, Colorado, Wyoming on a motorcycle. IMO I would have no trouble pulling those passes at what I consider a safe speed 45-50mph on the curvy ones. If one wants to pull those passes at 70mph, probably should get a different rig. I pull with the transmission in trailer mode and manual shift mode. Pulls much better with better fuel mileage with rpms over 2,000 to 3500 rpm. that's getting into the 5.3's power band and much easier on the engine and transmission. If I were constantly pulling the Rockies I might want something more.

I see no problem with that at all.

That's about the speed I'm comfortable with... I've seen too many close calls with people towing that want to maintain everyone else's speed. If I towed more than I do now, I'd definitely be looking at a 3/4 ton, but my truck does the job that I need it to do.

My first TV was a 17 Frontier. Loved that truck. But not quite enough for my 201BHXL. I upgraded to an 18 RAM 1500 with 5.7L and 3.92 gears. Makes the Nissan feel like a toy! I ended up with a slightly bigger trailer too - 2400BHWE. TT GVWR is 7,000 lbs. Max tow with the RAM is 10,150. But that seems like way too much. Loaded, I run about 6,400 lbs (per scales). That feels like a perfect match for the half ton, especially going up and down Utah mountain passes. Still miss the Fronty though!

Parely's or Provo canyon? They both have almost equal grade percentages, but Parley's is a brutal 10 mile climb haha.

To the OP: Have you learned anything from all these responses? If so, then what?

What’s the dry weight on your trailer?

I haven’t necessarily learned anything. I’m more just impressed with everyone’s set up. The one takeaway that I’ll admit to having is probably a 3/4 ton truck for my next TV. That just means another upgrade further down the road.

What's the max payload in your truck? I've heard Toyota is great for pulling, but lack in the payload department...

1300 lbs It's just me and my wife in the truck. Everything else is in the camper.

To be fair, you need to add fuel there as well as the additional TW caused by "everything else in the camper".
