This topic has been beaten to death, by my wife. I'm ok pulling a 2018 Rockwood 2507, 5200 basic weight, 6717 Gross, usually weighs in at about 6000 pounds hooked to a 2012 Tundra Limited 5.7 4 by 4 with tow package by a Crossover TS Weight distribution system. She is not OK and kids me by climbing in the back seat with the dogs in the downhills. Me: Love my Tundra and can't let it go.

2013 F-150 3.5 Ecoboost with tow package and 3.73 rear end. It pulls 2014 Wildwood 27BHXL like a boss. Dry weight is around 5500, fully loaded, I bet we’re between 6500-7k. I can still beat cars off the line and stop on a dime. Fuel mileage is terrible, but its a gasser, so that is to be expected.
I put air-springs on the TV after some advice from a buddy who is “truck/tow-smart”. They do help, but if I had to do it again, I’d stay stock. I don’t think they help out all that much.
Winds over 15 mph make things interesting. I usually slow down a bit and am much more aware in those situations. I’ve been white knuckled a few times.

Pulling a Rockwood Ultra-Lite 2606WS with a Ram 2500 w/6.7 Cummins. Probably overkill for that light of a trailer, but always enjoy the extra margin of payload.
On interstate I just get in the outside lane, put the cruise on 65 and let it eat.
Never been on a grade where maintaining a reasonable speed was a problem.
Perfect combination for us, but sometimes you tend to forget the trailer is behind you!😂

Tow vehicle is a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins with a 6 spd manual.
Trailer is a No Boundaries 19.5 (22' 8") with a dry weight of 3456 lbs, and a loaded weight of about 4400 lbs. I enjoy having way too much tow vehicle for my camper.

2015 30 foot Rockwood Ultralite. Cheap. $36K out the door (incl. tax & license). 7700# dry, 9000#loaded. I removed 400# of TVs, sofa, fireplace, etc.
Had to raise it 3 inches to be level with 2500HD truck. Dealer said tow with 1500. I laughed. 2500HD is 6L gas. Does fine. We don't rush up the hills.
Had dozens of issues. Didn't go back to dealer. Lots of mods. 300AH LFP battery, 600W of solar. We can weather 6 days of rain without unloading the generator.
The size is perfect for us. Travel 15-20 weeks per year. Big enough to be comfortable, but still fits most National and State Park campgrounds. It's tall, but I'm 6-3 and the bedroom is 6-5.
We like the rear kitchen but store heavy stuff in a tall converted coat closet over the wheels.
Love the 12' long "super slide" for large living area (Slide is 42" deep). Wife's 88 key Yamaha electronic piano sits where the sofa was. She agrees to longer trips since I got the piano.
I don't recommend this brand. Too many problems. Quality control was nil. I know poor quality control is an issue with most brands but if you saw my list of issues you'd agree this is one to avoid. Or at least it was in 2015.

2018 F150 3.5 Ecoboost Supercrew 3.55 rear. Engine pulls our TT effortlessly even in hills. TBH we bought the TT to fit the TV and the combination has worked out great. I'm using a properly setup Husky WDH (model 32218) and it has kept the rig nice and level.
TT is a 2019 Freedom Express 257bhs which is about 28' 9" bumper to end of a-frame. It's got one slide for the 84" u-shaped dinette. Dry weight is roughly 5300 and we're right around 6600 when fully loaded.
We upgraded from a pop up and we were real worried about buying a new TT given all the horror stories we've read in our research and, knock on wood, we've been super happy to date. Heading out to Charleston Lake Provincial park this weekend (poor kids have to leave school early )
Happy travels folks.

Be careful. That trailer is putting ~1,200 lbs on your truck which probably has around 1,600 lbs of payload. I'll assume you weigh about 200 lbs, fully clothed. That leaves around 200 lbs total for your WDH, any/all passengers, gear, wood, and anything else in your bed.

New to full size TT...previous was a pop up.
TT: 2016 Coachmen Apex Nano 191RBS; 4,500 GVWR.
TV: 2017 F-150, Supercab, 3.55L Eco, Fx4, 3:55 rear, Max Tow Pkg, 1,913lb cargo capacity, (I have @1600lbs left), 7,050 GVWR, Hayes Sway Control.
Have only towed it twice, 4 nights camping...@550 miles total. Towed great.
I don’t have a WDH...TT tongue weight is @540lbs according to the scale I bought. The TV hitch is rated at 500lbs w/o WDH. I plan on dumping fresh water and moving some stuff toward the back and into the truck bed to lower the tongue weight. Is this acceptable? Thnx.
