We have a 2018 Coachmen Freelander 21RS MH. It has a Chevy 4500 Cab. Hitch weight is 5000#. We are curious what anyone out there is towing with this MH; or suggestions. GVWR is 14,200; GCWR is 20,000; UVW is 10,046; CCC is 4,030; GAWR front is 4,600;GAWR Rear is 9,600; length 24' 9". Would appreciate any help. Looking at purchasing New; but would consider a vehicle 2-5 years old. Thanks
I have a 2018 Coachmen Concord 300ds sitting on a 4500 Chevy chassis with the 6.0. I bought a bare bone stick shift Spark paid a little over 12,000 for the car, I pull it with the blue ox system. The system cost about 1700.00 to buy and 330.00 to install at my local Chevy dealer. Very happy with it, the curb weight of the road is only 2350 #’s , tows great and will get us around. I wouldn’t want to take along trip in it but it fits the bill for what we wanted it for.
