I'm another Andersen WDH fan. It's lightweight, easy to adjust, works exceptionally well with regards to anti-sway, and best of all, DW can assist in hooking it up without any strain.

How exactly are you using the sway control portion of the Equal-I-zer 4pt WDH, but NOT using the "weight distribution part"?

What it means is the bars are hooked up it just isn't really loaded for weight distribution. didn't think I needed to spell that out.

I'm still using an old Eaz-Lift WDH with the friction sway control ...No issues for the past 12 years but I recently ordered a Husky CenterLine TS 1k-1.4K for $211.49 $15.00 shipping from rvautoparts.com the 2.5 shank I need is on back order so I haven't received it yet...I figure that price I will give it a try if I don't like it it I can sell it on CL.

what kind of WDH do you use and what do you like about it

Equilizer 4 point. 1000/10,000. Used it for 12 years on two different travel trailers, and never had a complaint or problem.

well i bought an anderson hitch the chains vs. bars takes some getting used to but we just returned from our 2nd trip using it and i am really pleased with it, cruse at 67 mph, there was a bit of a crosswind, but honestly didn't feel it. had no sway when passing or getting passed by semis and the porpoising i was experiencing is all but gone, just a bit on 1 really rough bridge on I81 in virginia. the roads are really rough in virginia i'm sure many can attest to. the no squeak when backing up is refreshing as well. just thought i would follow up and thanks for all the advice
