E4 equalizer hitch with built in sway control. 1000lb Bars, or maybe 1200lb bars depending on how you load your trailer.

prob gonna want the 1200lb bars....that dry weight is gonna tick upwards real fast like in the real world....as far as wdh, how much you wanna spend?.....you can drop a grand and get a top of the line propride on one end, or a basic couple hundred dollar equilizer?? thats a big trailer for a 1500 series truck....personally i would run a straight line type of hitch at a minimum......

good luck sir!

OK, I'll ask...
What is the tow rating and payload rating for the truck?

Looked it up. 1890 on the payload with 9500 towing for his truck. Looks like he might be right around his payload numbers when all is said and done.

I would suspect the 1000# bars will be just fine. Equalizer, Reese Dual Cam, Pro-Pride, Hensley, Blue Ox. All should do the trick. Hensley and Pro-Pride will cost you a lot more, but they eliminate sway instead of control it. Just have to decide whether the cost it worth it.

I upgraded to the equalizer 1200/12000 when I recently bought my new trailer. Had the pro series 10k bar system with 2 friction arms. Trailer towed great and noticed a big difference. Very happy with the new hitch hook up.

yeah, i was pulling numbers from off the top of my head...LOL....i did however find one for sale for 1400 and 1500 (used) last year when i was thinking about getting one........couldent justify the expense, once i got mine tweaked in perfect and it was towing so nice......

now that imma have to buy a new drop shank and re adjust all my settings, i may consider it again...

in any case, 1000 dollars, i doubt it....

From what I've found, you can expect to pay between 5-700 depending on where you look. Best thing would be to figure out which bars you want and search on the Part number.

There are several videos out there to help with installation if you need it.
