What's wrong with this picture?

While camping a couple of weeks ago we saw this gentleman pull in with his camper and said what the heck!? As he pulled past, the tail of his truck was squatted big time and we still didn't know how his weight distribution arms weren't dragging. Now I'm not an expert but I think something was wrong. My buddy went over to tell him that something was wrong and the gentleman said really? He said it seemed to tow just fine up to 65 mph and this was the second season towing it. He had the adjustable cam setup and WDH which I'm no expert on. Either way we explained to him how we set up our WDH and gave him some advice. He was very appreciative and thanked us and when he left he set it up different and it looked much better. In no way is this a thread to bash or make fun of this man. But it just amazes me how someone could sell this trailer to someone and not explain the ins and outs of the hitch and let the person go unsafely. To me this was a terrible accident waiting to happen.

We see set-ups like this frequently while going down the road. Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

Holy cow that's crazy. I find it hard to believe that pulled well.

I see this several times a day. However, it's usually the landscaping trucks hauling all the mowers. Nothing quite like seeing a diesel F250 smoking away struggling to pull a trailer that has the rear suspension nearly bottomed out and the front end pointed at the sky.

I've even seen a few drivers leaning forward, closer to the steering wheel trying to see over the hood.

I'm surprised he took it so well. I have seen others get their heads bit off trying to help other campers with their set-ups or even backing in. I bet he knew he had a problem and just needed a little encouragement.

We have seen set ups going down the road where the front wheels barely hit the pavement. How do they steer??

Individual brake pedals for the rear wheels, just like a skid steer!

If someone hasn't experience GOOD towing, and they haven't crashed yet because of a bad set-up, then in their mind they have good towing, regardless of how bad or dangerous it might be.
