Here are my choices

Offered 10k the way it sets
4k head gaskets plus cost of heads if I need them and they said I probably do
2.5k in labor to change motor out with a long block
8200 for a jasper
7500 for a Asheville
6300 jk engine
So which one would you do? And what's your feedback on these engine builders?
Plan to use the truck to pull my 5th wheel and jeep- 16k and only run 6-7k miles a year

If you can afford the down time, fix what you have, and make sure the known problems are addressed. Once fixed correctly both the 6.0L and 6.4L will give long service. If you are going to boost power at the same time as the 'repair', be sure to talk with the repairer about additional improvements you may need to avoid more problems with increased power. One thing leads to the next.
Pick up a copy of Diesel Truck Engines, Performance Duramax Parts, Trucks & Cars - Diesel Power Magazine
(or library) and research the many advertisers. Talk with Bullet Proof Diesel in Mesa, AZ. Lots of good info on their website.
I'd suggest keeping it close to stock: First think reliability, and second think trade value.
