Wow I'm sure not impressed with the salesman who sold me the trailer saying "oh ya your little canyon will pull this trailer easy. "
So now I'm down another 450.00 in cost but he did give me a discount of 150.00.
Good thing you guys on this site helped me out. So now it's a new trailer and truck combo. Because I had to upgrade my truck for the pulling.
I thank you all again. Happy towing.

When is it critical to use a stabilizer hitch ?

How can a salesman sell something way to big for your vehicle ? Do they not have training ? In my case "George" needs some training. Is there anyone who's gone through this out there

It is quite unfortunate. When driven by sales, some people are willing to do anything. At least you won't be putting your own safety at risk now because you can't put a price on that.

I'm confused. What did you tow with before? By "stabilizer" do you mean a weight distribution hitch? Who sold you a trailer and didn't mention a WDH?

I know the salesman must be getting a bonus. I asked the same question at the dealer an hour ago the answer was "George didn't know ". George should not be selling trailers

Where in Edmonton did you buy that TT? That salesperson should be fired. That TV wasn't big enough and they don't even mention a WDH??

Unbelievable.
