Chevys are all on the road being enjoyed and working while the Fords are still trying to find a home, all the while RUSTING!

Ford, Chevy or Dodge?

This thread could get ugly but, in truth, most truck owners can't be persuaded to change brands unless they get a couple of bad ones along the way. They'll all do a good job if you maintain them. It's manner of comfort since you'll spend a lot of time in the cab traveling.

Tons around here... As long as it is in brown, four door, long bed and a WT model. All the Amish out here suck them up. I was able to find only my truck in the LTZ model since they either are all WT or cushy trucks.

Around here if you want a one ton you have to head toward the rural areas. 3/4 s are a dime a dozen as well as 1/2 s. There's a better market for the heavy duty trucks in the agricultural areas. I had three dealers tell me that. Makes sense.

Place I bought currently has 10 in stock, various colors and trim. If you want cab and chassis (most don't), there's more.

Rural dealers here get very few. The ones they get, they hold for their regular farmer/rancher customers. That is why they are hard to get, at least here. Rural dealers won't do a 'trade' with other dealers for them like they will most any other vehicle, either.

I think it's called supply and demand!!! Buy a Ford, buy the best, drive a mile and walk the rest!

From what folks are saying, looks like Fords are still on the dealer lots and the Chevys are on the road.

I got a '16 2500 HD and love it. You are welcome to be disappointed with a Ford if you want to.

Op....go south. Gm diesels are all over down here in Oklahoma and a lot around texas too. The dealer i got my gmc duramax from last fall had about 8, 3500 drw denali trucks on his lot....more than anyone around. Also had the best prices for about 500 miles or so.
Heres my duramax
