Sorry to hijack this...Can I ask why not just put them on the back of the 5er? Either on the ladder or mount a hitch back there and use the regular hitch bike rack?

Because all 5th wheel frames aren't created a like, especially ultralight ones like the OP 5ver.
Nor are the ladders all the same and how much they can carry.
