Don't know about all the others, but the ARE has a lip around the inside on both sides & the front; keeps it from moving around if the clamps get loose ( they will get loose). I have a Ranch & I do need to readjust & tighten the clamps periodically.

I had an ARE on my 2007 DD, Leer on my 2011 daily driver. I preferred the ARE so my 2015 DD has an ARE

Jason lists prices right on their website and the e1 which is comparable to the Leer xl starts at around 1000. You get into the top models with the flush glass and you can spend lots of $$$.
I stand corrected, I have the 100R. I wanted the XL but couldnt get the windoors, they are only available on the 100R. That being said 2K loaded is not bad for an XL.

Ishlers is not a Leer dealer, unless they recently became one. They are a good dealer.

You have to be comparing the Jason E1, which is a bottom of the line budget model to either the Leer 100R or at 1999 most likely the 100XL.
To be accurate you would have to compare the Jason "pace" to the Leer 100R or the Jason "zone" to the Leer 100XL. Leer doesn't offer a budget model comparable to the Jason E1.

Been years since I had a truck cap I had a Glasstite that I used on at least three different Ford pickups. It was used on two pickups before I bought it. It was over 20 years old when I sold it.

I always held on my truck caps through the stake pockets with J hooks, they never came loose............

The good ole days?

That was before they started changing the bed dimensions every couple of years. They change them just enough that although a lot of times you can get it to fit on a new truck it fits like crap. I just sold an 8' cap for a GM last summer I had on a 2007 and a 2013, the 2015 was a huge change in bed dimensions.

I have put the LEER 700 on my last two trucks. They look great and don't leak.

Agree. I have a Leer on my truck - great cap. My buddy owns a truck accessory store and sells Leer. He told me he would sell another line of caps because he feels Leer is the best.

I have LEER cab high on mine, although it looks a little shy of the cab high. Color matched, removable front window and the opening side windows. Have had a couple with opening side windows and wouldn't have one without them. It didn't come cheap though. Have had both Swiss and Century before. All have been OK
