We've decided this will be our last pet. The heartbreak will be too much to have another.

But we will see...

Ha ha...pretty much, but we were so off course "arguing" about fuel economy, that it didn't matter much anymore at that point.

Sorry, I will refrain from posting off-topic in this thred now.

Went from a 2011 F150 Ecoboost platinum 4x4 with 3.31s max trailer weight of 8200lbs to a 2011 F350 4x4 Lariat 6.7 with 3.55s max trailer weight of 15,000. Neadless to say my fully loaded 28.5 Sandstorm loaded to the gills at 9000lbs will be a no isue. If I ever want to step up to a bigger camper it has a goosneck ball in the bed already.

Max 8200# is hardly a 3/4 ton, in fact it's on the light side of a 1/2.

8200 was on the Ecoboost F150. The motor was great, just didnt have the right tow package to safely pull my sandstorm. So up to the F350 SD SRW. I am accually haveing a small love affair with this new truck. Just gotta get rid of the tires it came with. It has LT35-12.50-18 E rated but its a Toya MT tire. Gonna go back to the stock size. Better fuel and tread milage.

Actually very few Ecoboosts have the 11,300 tow package. I couldn't find one on any dealers lots within 60 miles of me. Seems the dealers aren't stocking these max tow trucks for some reason.
