Dodge had 98K miles but looked brand new (hope the claim that the cummins will last 400K miles is true!).

That's a good deal. I will have a fully paid off trade in so hopefully I can be somewhere around 20k when I am all done. That cummins will last a million miles if it's taken care of.

the cummins should last 400k, but be mindful of the transmission. seems to be a weak spot on dodge trucks in general, diesels in particular.im sure someone will chime in shortly on the subject.

You guys are going to have a hard time finding good used Dodges with Cummins. They are not called "Dodge" any more. Haven't been for years. They are "Rams".

I would have guessed you would end up with an Ecoboost, why the change? What changed my mind was I could get a late model diesel now and have $400 payments, or get a new Ecoboost next year and have $600 payments. I'm happy with my choice so far I think I would have loved the Ecoboost as well though.
