Who's towing with a Chevy Traverse?

If you tow with a Chevy Traverse, let us know what you're towing, and post a pic!

I WAS towing a 2012 Roo19 with a 2011 Traverse, but was not a happy camper (pun intended). TT runs about 4500 lbs max, Traverse rated for 5200lb, seems reasonable. But it ran in 4th gr at 3000 rpm, 60 mph, on level ground and dropped into 3rd for even small inclines. If you go on traverseforum.com, you'll find lots of folks overloading their Traverses and don't seem to mind, but I'm not one of them. I recently bought a 2009 Silverado, 5.3L V8, 4 speed, 3.73 gears, 7500 lb tow rating. Mileage isn't much better, but I sure feel a lot better.

I have seen Traverse pulling rigs too big. You really need over 1000 lbs when dry to account for gear and passengers. I have 1400 lbs before gear and passengers and its been towing great....only 9 miles to the gallon, but towing grat!

I agree! I would definitely have a bigger tow rig if olives in the hills!
