Guess my truck is not a color either... Black, since it is actually absorbing all visible light therefore appears black. Man this is getting too deep!

Blue chose me....
When looking for a used truck, color was secondary. There are a couple colors I didn’t want but blue and silver were okay. More important for us was to get a clean, one-owner, low mileage, well maintained truck.

White looks like a contractor/utility truck. Silver too nondescript. Red is great on a corvette. Black looks amazing ... the 2% of the time it’s spotless clean. Ruby Red (deeper red) is Ford’s best color for me. And I went 2-tone because these trucks are big and it’s an awful lot of just one color — I like it to be broken up a bit.

Obviously, these are all my opinions and not meant to be pejorative against anyone.

Only with light. In other mediums , (print, paint, etc) its the absence of color.

Because they only had two duallys on the lot one plane jane white and a gold lariat model and since it was the end of the year I told them I wanted it for the same price as the white one and they agreed. At first they wouldn't but as I headed to the door they had a change of heart as my trade only had 30000 miles.

I picked mine since my DW likes the Ford Ruby Red color. And it was the only F-150 Lariat on the lot that had the diesel option.

when I ordered my 2018 Ram in late 2017 I knew that the plant was partly down for re-tooling, which that year involved adding paint booths. because of that the only colors they were offering was something like White, Red, blue an black. Any other color would come up as on hold. I picked white.

I went for white because it stays cooler and is easier to cool down.

And another thing that most people don't think of...if you ever have body damage and a panel needs to be painted, white is the easiest of all colors to match. Metallics are the worst..

Our 2017 6.7L F350 dually was chosen because the two available trucks within a 250 mile radius, were black and bright red. The bright red was chosen by the DH. I could have cared less what color it was.

When I bought my F250 back in 2010 every 250 in Spokane was a diesel and I wanted a gas. I found my truck across the state line in Coeur d’alene ID where the dealer had exactly one gasser. BUT fortunately for me the in stock truck was Royal Red Metallic which I think is Ford’s best color at that time and I absolute love it. Last year my wife needed to replace her car and bought an Explorer in a really nice metal flake gray but I wish she had bought the Ruby Red. It looks so great with the all black rims and black out trim which her Explorer has.

I had an arrangement with DW. She wanted her favorite color, red. We needed a truck for the 5er, so I Ordered an f250 with necessary options and she chose race red.
DW says “pick any color you want, as long as it’s red”.

I picked white. It was the truck that meet our needs and white was on the lot. It's fairly easy to keep cleaned compared to the previous black truck and the grey one I had before that.

Before this one, I had a black truck and a blue truck. I really like neutral colors... Even though a lot of the Fords look really good in blue or red, I prefer something neutral. I don't like gray/silver on trucks, because I feel like it always looks dull, so that left me with black or white. After 7 years of battling my OCD and trying to keep my black truck clean, I decided to go with white, because I like how clean it looks Then The Wife told me that she thinks white on a truck makes it look like an "old man truck". So I am fighting to make another black truck look clean all the time.
