This one be around a while but if you haven't seen it's worth watching. Notice that the truck was DRW.

Agreed. If you have too much weight lifted off the back of the truck it's worse than no WD.

I have a 32 foot trailer which is really heavy in the rear with 2 slides rear of the axle and the f150 sway control has never had to react. It may be all about tweaking your WD.

And with p rated tires pump them to max 44 lbs. my truck came with the factory Goodyears that are like riding on jello bowls rolling the soft side walls.

Manually applying the electric trailer brakes helps to settle the sway a lot. As mentioned already, try different settings of tongue weight and WDH settings, along with trailer tire pressure until you get the most stable ride. It's worth a few hours of your time for more peace of mind, and might just save your butt in an emergency situation.

What was the wind speed ? I try to really watch the wind speed on accweather before planning a trip. We will not travel in winds over 40 .

6.0 Diesel

It's my first diesel but I have been very impressed. It had a bullet-proof kit done at the shop before I bought it (ARP studs, EGR delete, SCR, etc.) so hopefully it doesn't have any of the issues those 6.0's are known for
