With the prices of these F150s, I can't understand how they stay in business!

I was researching F150s last night and came across one online dealer. Over one million dollars for a pickup? Makes the one for $378,913 seem like a bargain.

I better start saving more money if I want to pull a bigger TT.

Reminds me why I learned to fix it myself and buy used. A million bucks buys a lot of parts.

Different dealers.

I see a lot of that online, it's like they just throw anything in when making the post on their website.

Mine wasn't even close to that.

Reminds me of the old story of the fellow selling pencils on the street corner. A guy walks up and says, "How much for a pencil?", to which the seller says, "A million dollars." The guy says, "I don't want to tell you what to do, but you're not going to sell many pencils at a million dollars." The seller replies, "I only have to sell one."

They don't want any calls.

Raising the price to an outrageous number is a common eBay practice when a seller runs out of stock but expects to have more stock soon. It's easier than re-doing and re-posting the entire ad. As soon as stock is available the price drops back down.

All explained on the eBay forum here.

I'd buy a Chevy or a Ram before a Ford any day. Next time you go to a campground take notice to how many new Rams and Chevy's there are compared to Fords. You will be surprised. Don't want to start a which is better argument but. Just go to the Ford ecoboost forums and read. Granted they all have issues But I would take a Hemi 5.7 or 6.4 or a Chevy 6.2 or a Diesel over a ecoboost any day for towing.

The deal is, there isn't one any better. They all suck! And cost too much!!

What tickles everybody is that a big percentage of the folks seem to LOVE their current truck and HATE their current trailer!!! LOL The rest of are danged and determined to make their current truck work with the camper they have their eye on, no matter what.

Just buy whatever. It won't be long and the right truck AND the right camper will become obvious, right before your eyes!
