My son had a wreck in my truck yesterday he is OK just really sore my question is I have a 1994 GMC 1500 with a 5.7 Lt was wondering if it will pull my 2015 Salem 27 RKSS it has a trailer package on it runs great I only pull it about 40 miles to lake

If it can not make the 40 miles you need to file it as a wreck along with the Dodge.

I have a '93 F150 we have nicknamed "Rusty." I inherited it from my dad, and use it for runs to Lowes and projects around the farm. After looking at the status of the rust in the hitch and rear frame area, I'm not towing anything with it.


If your truck is in good shape, payload and towing capacity are in line, you should be fine.

97 1500 2WD at 204K, no factory tow package, added a hitch, WDH, 7 pin and trans cooler with about 3000 miles pulling 4000lbs+ without issues.
