New trucks look so good but I want to see a month come with no truck payments. DW says I can't trade our camper so I will have to keep my 3500 Silverado SRW but it's a nice truck just the wrong color, I like red

So does my DW. That's why we have a Victory Red Silverado and a red CTS. Lol

DW likes diamond white, she has a E-350 Mercedes that I don't ever drive. I like a truck, I kinda wish I had got a dually but if I had I would have already got a big fifth wheel. I know you will enjoy the new truck

Red??? RED????????? YUCK!!! DOUBLE YUCK!!!
(Just kidding.......but when they asked what color I was looking for, I said "Any color except red!")
Honestly, at this age, it's way more about Substance than it is Style. I'm plenty cute enough just sitting in it....don't need the truck to be uber cool..........(but this one is anyway).
Well, if the Devil is the guys here, then the Devil made me do it. Seriously, if they're the Devil, they did a good deed this time! I am happy and feel way more secure, after the long discussion/lecture/training session last week. Honest.
I had to learn all about Satellite TV in a camper 2 years ago.......only a few folks had a clue, and none of them were TT dealers! Now, I've learned about towing capacities, but only because a ton of folks already figured it out.
And I still haven't been answered about why the two different ratings on the same tire if it's SRW vs. DRW........... ??

You know if everyone liked the same vehicle and the same color it would be a dull world. Enjoy your new(wrong color) truck. There is nothing like a understanding wife and camping. Have fun

Nice TV, you should be able to upgrade to a nice tear drop or a A-frame trailer...

Nice looking truck! I said I wanted anything but white. Well white was the only 2014 leftover long bed 3500 HD SRW 4wd LT in a 500 mile radius. So for us it was a choice of getting the color I wanted for about $6000 more or settle for white and save $6000 on the leftover deal. Sorry but color wasn't worth that much money to me. Enjoy your beautiful new white truck. We called ours Tuffy because she was so tough to find and she is one tough truck with her 4000 lb payload. You can call yours Snowy or Snow White since you got her in the winter...
Oh and since I'm one if the ones who helped push us in to it... You could say "momma said"

And someone help me understand this.......the tires are E rated 17" tires.......and printed on is the weight rating.......but it says, for each tire "3025 single wheel/2835 dual wheel".
IF (???) that means that those tires would equate to 6,050 if on a SRW vehicle, and 11,340 if on DRW vehicle, then I guess I understand it. I'm assuming (?) the latter, meaning that the tires @ 4 each are rated higher than the RGAWR, meaning they should be fine.
Right? Wrong?
I think you have nailed it. Congrats

Color? My favorite two colors are Black and Chrome, but I have had a red car previously, still nice color. With the upgraded TV you could probably even pull one of the larger Casita TT! Enjoy! I hope to jump to a DRW 1T in a year but the fever is getting worse almost daily.

nice truck good choice you won't be over weight don't matter what you tow, my 2011 3500 drw Duramax is hands down an awesome truck I had every thing professionally weighed and I'm over 28k total and the truck has performed outstanding I love it you will not beat the ride and power don't care what anyone says I've been to Sturgis 2 times all around New England states and it is just a perfect combination a 1 ton dually Chevy and a trip axle toy box, no air bags no help from any after market crap you will see have fun and be safe. one more thing only way your gunna be able to see how the other duallys perform is to keep an eye on your mirrors cause they will all be behind you.....

Just another thought, before you buy that B&W hitch, check out Reese Signature Series 18 or 24 k hitch ,I've got the 24k they look the same, but I've had both B&W now I have the Reese and love it, no tools needed no spare bolts, no b/s .
