Yukon Towing

Please help. looking for correct info for towing with a 2008 Yukon XL. I am picking up my new '14 Roo 233s tomorrow and trying to find the right setup for my Yukon. I have spend some time searching on what to get. Weight Dist... Dual Cams... Sway control... Friction... Ugh. I am just looking for the correct answer and what to buy. 600/800/1200/1500 weight... information overload. Please help. Any clarity will be greatly appreciated

While you wait for others to drop in and offer feedback I wanted to say hi and welcome to the forum!

Here is where my limited knowledge will show - I used my sister's 2006 Yukon to tow with when I first I brought my TT with the sway control and weight dist. bars but I don't recall the weight range. I believe the sway control is friction but for sure it's not the upgraded item but has worked well for my use.

Thank you for your input. I have been looking at a lot of websites to get it ordered and unfortunately don't have the manual in front of me to look up some of them info I need. I.E. tonge weight and other info. Im interested in the Reese Hitch line. Just not sure what they want to know about the 6/8/12/1500 of what they put on there. Time for some serious web surfing! But thank you !

For quicker info on your truck, you might want to get on a GM truck/SUV chat site.
