Adding Coolant

My low coolant light came on so I picked up some of the red antifreeze/coolant to top off the tank. Question is, do I put it into the radiator or the overflow tank? Any other things to be careful of?

Overflow tank while cool. If you keep losing fluid, get a pressure check.

I had the same thing happen to me last week. I discovered a loose hose clamp on the heater hose above the generator. Also you may want to check the freightliner manual for approved antifreeze. Final point: I found a small hand pump made filling the reservoir super easy.

Love the hand pump idea...nothing is easy to access. Where do you find one?

I have purchased several over the years. The best came from Walmart and was less than $10
