Gen won't start

What do I double check?
Checked the breakers, including the one on the gen itself.
Battery good.

Well first thing I would check if gen is cranking but not starting would be fuel supply.

That would generally point to battery first. I have had this problem when batteries are just a tad drained. I assume your trying to start from inside panel. Try starting at gen with the start switch. If still not cranking you have eliminated a switch problem inside the coach. To double check battery start the coach and let run a bit and try to start the gen with engine running. If your positive battery is at 12.6 or better look for. Resettable breaker/fuse that is square with a little button on side that pops out. Its usually in line from battery

After 200 miles, it started. Still not sure what the cause was.

I would suspect your right.. Electronic ignition requires a minimum of 9.5v to operate. During cranking the voltage will drop and if battery is not charged or going bad the voltage could drop below this..

My house batteries were down to 12.1 once and my gen would not even crank once.

If your coach has an emergency start function typically one can actuate that to tie the chassis and coach batteries together and start the genny. If it cranks the coach batteries are low. It may not be possible to do this on some units. I can on my class A GT. It's just a troubleshooting tool.

I ended up needing to replace my alternator, so I believe it was a battery issue.
