Looking at Used Charleston

I'm looking at a couple 2014 Forest River Charleston 430FK. Two have 2 a/c units each and the third one has 3. My question is how much better is the one with 3 and can you run all 3 at the same time on 50amp.

yes, you can run all three on either your onboard generator, or on full 50amp RV service(100amps total)... it's likely you'll also have an EMS(electrical management system) as part of your rig, so it can also help to shut down any non-essential 120v appliances when you don't have 'enough' power - such as if you have to adapt down to a 30amp campsite, etc.

If your rig comes with three air conditioners, as most of the higher-end models for each diesel coach manufacturers do, it will certainly be designed to run everything, and even all at once.

Congrats - the Charleston is a magnificent machine, and you'll likely enjoy it and it's amenities very much - travel, have fun!

If the 2014 as the 2015 have cable guided slides, you do not want them. Nothing but trouble, concentrate on something more like an entegra where slides go in flush, an can self correct... I owned a charleston, I think in 2016 they did away with cables.. having said that we enjoyed the 2015 an we were treated well from FR
