No water

Filled tank and turned on pump but no water. Anything I can check before just having the pump replaced?

Feels like every time we go out, something new is broken

Sometimes the course strainer attached to the pump inlet cover wii loosen and allow air in. Even self priming pumps cannot overcome this leak. Also check screwed pipe couplings from pump towards tank.
