Steps not extending

2016 Charleston 430BH

In the middle of our recent trip, the entry steps stopped extending. Regardless of the switch position they will not unfold. I've tried cleaning the door contacts but don't know what else to try. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

My first thought is a fuse but I'm not near my coach nor my docs so I can't tell you where to look. If you have a 12v tester, check the fuse block in the power compartment.

Sorry, I hit the wrong return. Under the steps is a connection that hang in the air and sometime becomes disconnected. Check that connection. But be careful not to get under the steps. Because if the connector is dislodged and you reconnect the plug, the steps will activate and pin you under. I don't think there is an overcurrent sensor on the step which could cause sever injury to you. Best to crawl under from the front and look behind the steps. Your apt to see the loose connection.
