Window glass replacement

We experienced a window break during a recent wind storm. We filled a claim with out insurance and referred to a service provider who says that Forrest River has not release the replacement glass. The window is the emergency escape window. I was told that Forrest River has to go to "third party" support for the glass. Does any one have a contact with Forrest River that can help expedite the acquisition of replacement windows? We've been waiting four weeks with no ETA on the glass.

Window glass replacement

Hey scrapper, he's got a Charleston, which is where he posted it.

There are several places that names and numbers for the folks at diesel division mixed in the forum. I don't have them handy but will see if I can find them.

My go to guy left, but I see lots of people talking about others. Randy comes to mind.

Just to close this thread, the window was replaced but, according to the RV repair shop, the window had to be remanufactured. Which accounted for the long repair time. (8mos). Apparently this is the emergency escape window and only so many are made. Can’t tell if he was relating facts or making up stories. I just wanted it fixed. I temporarily clamped in a smoked plexiglass panel till it was correctly replace. Replacement was pricey, but insurance covered that. All is restored on that situation.
