We stayed at Stone Creek a few years back, and it was really nice. We had a small rally there. The people that helped organize it stay there almost every winter. Traffic will probably kill you, but I think it will do you fine. I have not been to Travelers World or the KOA, but I've heard they're pretty nice also. I know someone will jump in and verify.

[QUOTE=SailorSam20500;1675805]Trying to decide on where to stay in San Antonio. Contenders are Travelrs World, the San Antonio KOA, or Stone Creek in Schertz. I'm leaning against Stone Creek.

Anyone care to comment?[/QUOTE

We stayed at Stone Creek once. I'll say no more.

Last Spring we stayed at the River Walk, which is pretty typical of private RVParks... gravel/grass pads, pretty close quarters, but full hook ups, and clean. The location is really good for getting downtown or to the rodeo grounds... the bus stops right out front. KOA would be good for location as well (no experience there). Be sure to check on when the rodeo is happening, as that will affect site availability.
