Take a look at John Kyle SP by Sardis Lake. Stayed there a couple of times going to the Gulf and on the way back. We enjoyed it.

We stayed at Crossar SP last Sept. Very nice, clean. The deer were everywhere. Plan to go back in the spring.

We stayed at John Kyle SP and it was not bad. I heard heard people mention they camp at Wall Doxey SP when going to football games in Oxford. Neither are real close. Good Luck!

Check www.allstays.com . There seems to be several COE campgrounds around Sardis Lake a little north of Oxford.

You might try Hurricane Landing recreation area, also part of Sardis Lake operated by the Corp of Engineers. It is somewhat better than the campground at John W. Kyle State Park. And, it is also closer to the City of Oxford.

Rebel RV Park Is about 10 miles from University of Miss. Not bad. Stayed there for a night. 50 amp, water. No Cable, Antenna channels-only 4-5, Wifi solid. Showers, Bathrooms-small, but work fine.
