Was at Moondance last year, as noted generators are ok, and if you like to have some open space around you, you’ve made a good choice to camp in the general camping area vs. electric sites. The pic below is from the back of our RV in an electric site, and as you can see these sites are very cramped.I needed to purchase 2 back-to-back sites so our 38’ 5th wheel would fit with the option to have the party deck/ramp open, and with just enough room left to park the truck.

The general camping area (at least the area I drove through) was fairly wide open, and the further away (~1/4 to 1/2 mile) from the concert area the more wide open they were. Basically crisscrossing dirt roads through a big field, with a wooded area around the perimeter.

It’s an interesting crowd…LOL, that loves listening to classic rock bands and partying. We had a great time, and yes….at my age it took me a few days to recover! Enjoy!!
