Smile Best Campgrounds in San Antonio TX

I'm headed to San Antonio, TX next week and would appreciate any recommendations on which campgrounds to stay at for at least one week. I have a 26 ft TT and will need full hook ups. Thanks.

Don't have any recommendations, but SA has several military installations and I'm assuming several campgrounds also.

If you're qualified (military, government, etc.) there are several websites showing these type campgrounds.

Around the corner from Sea World is Admiralty RV Resort. It's not in town but a nice facility.

Stone Creek rv campground in z Schwartz. About 15 miles north of San Antonio.Just finished 4 days there. Not bad. A lot of long term, but a good amount of daily. Good Sam ok.I would stay here again.

I know a lot of folks have differing views on KOA, but we stayed at the San Antonio KOA over Christmas. Its a nice gated facility. Its very close to the AT&T Center and close to downtown. There is even a bus stop right across the street to get downtown if you didn't want to use your own vehicle. Its also right next to the Howard W. Peak Greenway Trail System that has paved bike paths. I will say that it is in an industrial part of San Antonio, but we didn't have any problems at all.

What will you be doing there? It might help us narrow down an area for you.
