Best way around Oklahoma City

Hey all,

I'm heading East on the 40 and then East on the 44 out of Oklahoma City. What's better, 40 to 35 to 44, or John Kilpatrick Tpke around to the 44?

Thanks,
Bruce

I am from Oklahoma and drive in/through Oklahoma City every day.

I would suggest that you take I-40 east to I-35 north and then I-44 East. The traffic is lightest on that route.

X2.
I work in downtown OKC.
Just don't go thru from 6:45-8:30 am traffic is terrible that time of day going that direction. And the opposite way in the evening.
